Two founders, one team, two worlds.
total10, Hamburg: founded in 2010 as an e-commerce agency, now an engineering partner to online retailers and pharma. We've stayed small by choice. Working close to our clients is the model, not a limitation.
Our story
From building shops to running our own. From retail into pharma.
We started out in 2010 like plenty of agencies, building online shops for clients on Shopware. What set us apart was the decision to become merchants ourselves. samen.de, rasensamen-kaufen.de and rollenrampe.de are our own shops, with real stock, real customers and real returns. They are our lab: every recommendation has to earn its keep against our own revenue before a client ever hears it.
The second strand arrived in 2016 with our first business application for a pharma logistics provider. One project has since grown into more than 33 applications across a single client ecosystem: portals, interfaces and automations, all still running and still evolving today. The disciplines are the ones retail taught us: inventory, warehouse logic, systems integration, clean data.
Today a third layer ties the two worlds together: AI, used deliberately. Our content machine writes from real product data, and our automations run on self-hosted n8n. Every tool proves itself on our own business first. Where you take it is up to you: E-commerce and digital or Pharma IT.

How we get there is the product.
What sets us apart isn't a technology stack. It's the sequence: understand first, then research, then build. And it's the absence of machinery: you work directly with the people who build it. No junior cascade, no layers of project management, no overhead quietly landing on your invoice.
Research
We look for the best way to solve it, not the nearest template. You see every option on the table, our recommendation, and the assumptions behind it.
Build
We build so every step can be retraced and the whole thing holds up: in two years, under an auditor's questions, on the day we aren't in the room.

Mario Braune
CEO at total10 GmbH
Co-founder of total10 and the commerce side of the business. He has been building online shops since 2010 and helps run the ones the company operates itself. Content, marketing and the automated content pipelines on n8n all run through him.
Niels Heberlein
CEO at total10 GmbH
Architecture and software development are his craft. He writes the Symfony business applications used in pharma logistics, and he built this website too. Since co-founding total10 he has held to one rule: durable and solid beats flashy, every time.
Maria Wagner-Lichtenberg
Digital Executive Assistant
Maria is not a person. She keeps the founders' diaries, correspondence and organisation in order, and picks up whatever would otherwise stay undone: around the clock, never on holiday, never off sick. She is here to support the team, not to replace it.
